Current theme is not compatible with WooCommerce Wholesale Order Form plugin

Hello,

Hope you are good.

I am facing the following issue.
In the order form page, the image url is breaking, in place of proper url it is showing “false”. Even the option is selected from admin end.
It is working fine with Storefront theme and twentyseventeen themes.
You can use below details to look into it.

I am also attaching a screenshot here

Please let me know if you require any further information

Thanks

Hi Dave,

It would be best to get in touch with the plugin developer for this issue due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.

In case they mention anything specific that we can adjust on our end, kindly let us know so that we can look into it.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hello,

I have consulted with the plugin support team and according to them if the functionality of plugin is working with default theme like twenty seventeen and storefront theme then it means there is some compatibility issue with the current theme we are using.
We have updated the theme to current version but that didn’t solve the issue.
Can you please ask your developer to look into the issue.

The pages in which I am facing the issues are:

Hey Dave,

I see that you’ve not updated Cornerstone to the latest version yet. Please update it. I don’t suspect it to be the source of the issue but please update to be sure.

Please also check the FTP credentials you’ve given us because it’s now working. For now, please try renaming the woocommerce folder under wp-content/themes/x to see if one of the template files is causing the issue.

Thanks.

Hello Christian_y,

Thanks for your reply.

As per your reply, I think Cornerstone plugin has no relation with the current issue. And you understand this.
Also, the details I provided are SFTP details not the FTP details. And they are 100% working. Please check it again.
The final point you mention about renaming woocommerce folder under wp-content/themes/x , I also tried that but that didn’t solve the issue.
Can you please consult your developer to look into this as it is urgent now. Because as per your suggestion I have already consulted with plugin support team before and being more than 10 days and I didn’t get any proper solution.

Hope you understand.

Thanks

Hi Dave,

It could be a compatibility issue but it’s not something that can be fixed easily since two developers (our site and their side) should handle it. All we could do is add this to our issue tracker.

But based on my understanding of the code, the theme and cornerstone don’t alter the image URL supplied by https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/get_the_post_thumbnail_url/ (or similar). The plugin uses it directly without dependency on the theme and cornerstone.

I’ll do some further checking if you can set up another installation (staging) without the unrelated plugins. Just make sure the present plugins are the cornerstone, Woocommerce, and wholesale-related plugins. And of course with X theme too. I tried this on your current setup by deactivating the others but it only causes internal errors. I can’t promise any fix, but if I can confirm this incompatibility then I’ll add this to our issue tracker along with any information that I’m able to find.

And yes, updating cornerstone is not related but you must update it since you already updated your theme. This will also help us narrow down the issues, and to make sure the issues aren’t coming from other areas (like an incompatibility between X and Cornerstone)

Thanks and let me know.
