Current post terms: Display Top-level categories only

Hi!

I want to output only the top-level categories on the products page, leaving out the sub-categories.

Within the “Current post terms” looper, I think there should be a selection for choosing whether to display top-level terms only, sub-terms only, or all.

As that is not the case, I am trying to set some conditions to include only top-level categories. I am trying to use the String condition and play with the URL segment on one side and the post slug on the other, but I cannot get this to work.

How would you go about pulling this off? :slight_smile:

Hey @Misho,

Regretfully, there is currently no Looper to display top-level categories only. I will post this in our tracker as a feature request so our development team will know of this use case.
