Ctrl + F / Cmd + F search missing on Global CSS

I’ve seen this mentioned in a few other threads, and it’s been pretty difficult to work with the global CSS without a search function on larger sites. So I found a temporary fix if this is something that’s affecting you.

Create a Global Block. It doesn’t need to be used anywhere, you just need to be able to create and save it. Then go in and edit the CSS for the Global Block. Within that screen, there is also an option at the top of the modal window to edit the Global CSS. If you edit it here, the search works perfectly.

I hope this helps somebody prior to a proper fix being rolled out in the next version.

Thanks for the tip. At the moment, the search function is only not available when you are in the Theme Options tab.

Switching to the Outline, Inspector, or Settings tab, when clicking the CSS > Global CSS on the left panel, the search function should work.
