CSS not working with V2 element

Before pro came out I’ve been using the following basic CSS to style certain classic headings across my site:

.heading-bar {
margin-bottom:0.5em;
overflow:hidden;
padding:8px 15px;
background-color: #8EAE9A;
border-radius:6px;
color: #f8f5ef;

This class does not apply the styling to the new V2 headlines. I’ve tried adding !important to them but it only works for some of the declarations, not all of them.

Thanks for writing in! Could you please try targeting your element using the following method and see of that helps.

.heading-bar.x-text.x-text-headline {
    margin-bottom: 0.5em;
    overflow: hidden;
    padding: 8px 15px;
    background-color: #8EAE9A;
    border-radius: 6px;
    color: #f8f5ef;
}
