Css not realy working. child theme

ok.

  1. installed X theme
  2. instaled X child theme as in tutorial :slight_smile:
  3. writed in child theme style.css for testing:
    body { background-color: black !important; }

nothing :slight_smile: i missed something?
child theme activated. editing css in cornerstone working (very uncomfortable)

writing same in chrome inspector working

Hi there,

There are instances that the CSS you have added in the child theme’s style.css file does not get loaded even after refreshing the page because the site might still be loading a cached version of the style.css file. In case that is the case, please try to clear the browser cache or load the page in incognito mode.

Also please try to double check if there are no other CSS that is overriding the CSS codes you have added.
