what do I need to do after activating ssl (301 forwarding).

Thanks for writing to us.

It seems that you are trying to install SSL on your server. Currently, your website URL is with HTTP but after SSL installation your website URL would be using HTTPS in that case you need to replace the URL of the site’s database properly with the HTTPS domain name(HTTPS URL) so that your styles, fonts, images, JS and page URL works properly. For that, there are many URL replacement Plugins available in WordPress which help you to replace the URL.

Also, remember that the exact URL should be mentioned in Setting > General, WordPress Address and Site URL, including the protocol i.e HTTP/HTTPS.
