CSS Headers All Messed Up after Pro Update to 5.0.3

I just updated to Pro 5.0.3. Haven’t done a thorough review of the site yet, but on almost all pages, the font styling for heading tags (h1, h2, etc.) are all messed up, not what it was before the update. Maybe an issue with the Custom Headline element?

Example of page with heading font issue (https://littlesprouts.com/schools/amesbury/). Home page fonts appear fine so far.

I’ve cleared all cache (site, browser, server, etc).

Please advise on how to fix ASAP.

Hi @littlesprouts,

Would you mind sharing login credentials in a secure note so we can take a closer look at your site? Thanks!

Just sent secure note

Thank you! I was able to confirm this as a bug and we’ve corrected it for the next update which will be published shortly.

Wow, thank you for fixing that so quickly! Also, for fixing whatever was causing the plug-in conflict with Autoptimize and loading the builder, which had been an issue for several months.

Now, it appears there are 2 new issues:

  1. The pictures in my Tab 1 on our school pages are not loading (Example - https://littlesprouts.com/schools/amesbury/)
  2. My 3 column text on the homepage (https://littlesprouts.com/) in the purple section below the 1st video is not loading?

Hello @littlesprouts,

When you are logged in, both the pictures in the tab content and the 3 column text will display.

This means that this is just a caching issue. Please clear all your plugin caches. You may need to temporarily deactivate Autoptimize or any other plugin that may be caching the page. Use private browsing mode in testing your site again.

Kindly let us know how it goes.

The pictures in the tab content on the school pages and 3 column text on the home page only appear in the builder when logged in on the backend. It does not appear on the live pages. I’ve cleared all cache, tried to view in different browsers, incognito mode, etc.

Please help.

Hi @littlesprouts,

I’ve confirmed your issues when the user’s logged out but like my colleague said, the layout is just working fine when the user’s logged in. That being said, this has something to do with the cache, If you have any 3rd party cache integrated on your website like Cloudflare, please clear the cache or set it to development mode, or your server has a cache set to your website, please reach them out and ask for assistance.

Hope that helps and let us know how it goes.

Thank you.

I cleared all cache, including on our server via Managed Wordpress on Liquid Web. This still did not work, it’s still an issue on the live site, but only appears on the builder.

Hey @littlesprouts,

All Javascript-powered functions of Pro now are not working because you have set all scripts to ASYNC in your site using a 3rd party plugin. I’ve deactivated the plugin to show you that Pro is not the problem.

Please use a plugin that can selectively exclude scripts from a theme. Pro’s resources don’t need to be optimized as they already are.

Thanks.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for identifying the issue with ASYNC and for fixing our issue.
