Css element name for where the header, main area and footer are?

I’m trying to place a background image over the entire page, including the header and footer, which will then be transparent, but cannot seem to find the css element for doing this.

I have no problem placing onto one of these, but not all of them.

You can add your background image under Theme Options > Layout and Design > Background Options
