How do I get into the area where I can edit the CSS in Ethos?

Thanks for writing in!
You do not have to edit the css file of any stack like in Ethos. You will need a custom css to override any style of the element you want. You can insert the custom css in the X > Theme Options > Global CSS (http://prntscr.com/evui3r) or may even place it in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.
If you are using a child theme, you can also add your custom css in your child theme’s style.css file which you can edit in Appearance > Editor.
