CSS difference between live and dev site

Hello. My site (http://www.tidessamui.com/) uses the X-Theme. I also have a private clone of the site I use for testing and development. But there is a discrepancy between the two that exists at a screen width of 1243 px. That that screen width, for tags in my main menu, my live site has padding-left and padding-right set to 14 px. But on my dev site, these values are 9 px. See screenshots here for an illustration of the difference. Can you help me understand why there is a discrepancy.

Thanks.

Hi @cagross,

Thanks for writing in.

In this case, it would be best that we could the test site so that we could compare or we could check the difference. Would you mind sharing us the URL of your test site.

Thanks.

Sure.

The live site is http://www.tidessamui.com/.

The dev site is http://www.deckchairstoreroom.com/tidessamui/

Thanks.

Hi there,

Please try to check the NAVBAR TOP LINK SPACING (PX) setting in X > Launch > Options > Header and make sure they have the same values.

Hope this helps.

OK thanks–that was the issue. Those values were different for each site.

We can consider this resolved.

You’re always welcome!

Cheers.
