[cs_content_seo] showing up in my site on Google

Hi

When my site is searched on Google, the [cs_content_seo] shortcode shows up.

I don’t know where this code has been entered, so I can’t remove it.

Please tell me how I can get rid of this because it makes my site look very messy on Google.

Hey Jamie,

I see the issue but it shouldn’t happen though as the cs_content_seo shortcode could not be outputted in the frontend. The only part of WordPress that could read and output shortcodes inside the content are SEO plugins so you probably have installed a SEO plugin previously and it outputted a default Meta Description.

The solution to this, either way, is to install a SEO plugin like Yoast SEO and configure the Meta Description per page/post. Refer to the SEO plugin documentation for more information.
