Creating sales funnels with X

Hi,

I have been using X since the very early days, although I have recently been researching sales funnels for a video course I have created and I am rethinking my approach to website creation. I have been researching everything from Click Funnels down to DIY funnels and many possible solutions in between.

Is it possible to create successful sales funnels with X and the included/supported plugins without adding additional plugins? A simple example would be a landing page/squeeze page offering a free product in exchange for an email address using Email Forms by Themeco, which could then be directed to a marketing page that sells my course. For more complex funnels with upsell features and other strategies of which I have learnt, can the suite of included plugins with X be used?

Any helpful advice, examples of other successful funnel sites created with X, landing page templates for X, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

The SEO side of things is another area that I would like some guidance - tips on best practises when creating multiple landing pages to keep the site SEO friendly as an example.

Regarding the funnel, it looks like the ConvertPlus plugin that is bundled in our themes meets your requirement as it has a redirect feature after completing the form.

Regarding SEO, regretfully, we have no resources. But, you can learn from one of the popular SEO plugins like Yoast SEO https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/

Thanks @christian. ConvertPlus does look like a suitable candidate, although when I try and activate the plugin, It says that I am required to purchase it. Should this be the case? I have quite a few sites on which I would like to implement similar funnels and extra costs on all sites would soon add up. I was hoping for a solution using included plugins that do not require extra purchases.

I just realised ConvertPlus is installed and I presume that I can ignore the ‘activate license’ warning on the Wordpress plugin page? It’s been a long weekend and missed the fact that I must have installed ConvertPlus on this particular site a while ago. It was sitting there at the bottom of the list all along. Oops…

Hey Paul,

No activation is required to use the bundled ConvertPlus plugin. It should work fine without a license. The license is only used for getting support and updates directly from the ConvertPlus author. But, since it’s bundled in our theme, we provide the support and updates.

Today, I started to create my first funnel, although I have fallen at the first hurdle. When I try to add the MailChimp Convert Plus Addon, it says “Installation Failed!”. I cannot continue without this integration and I cannot find a solution anywhere.

Please find the detailed documentation on how to add the Mailchimp with ConverPlugs plugin, https://www.convertplug.com/plus/docs/mailchimp-wordpress-popup-plugin/
If that does not help, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– Mailchimp API Key
– WordPress Admin username/password

Hi Paul,

I can confirm that when you install the mailchimp via Convert Plus add ons it can’t be installed. So then, I manually uploaded the mailchimp addons for Convert Plus and you are now ready to go.
