Are there any plans to document / allow 3rd parties to create non classic elements?

We are running out of options and may need to port off CS if we can not create more sophisticated admin panels

Thanks for writing in.

I checked and as of now, there is no available API for v2 elements at this moment. But once it’s available, the guide should be updated for v2 APIs.

Is there a timeline for this?

With classic elements - is it possible to configure the interface to adapt based on values selected? e.g. you select an option and some additional fields are displayed

Thanks for updating the thread.

Unfortunately we don’t have timeline for the same. With regards to the second question, it’s not possible to as of now to add apply logic to a given element. However, you can use JS to program elements and upon selecting a value additional options get’s displayed. If you are comfortable with JS and programming, you can certainly make the customizations.
