Creating a section/element with posts or products, and sorting and pagiantion?

Hi!

I’ve been searching this forum, the Docs and your YouTube channel, but can’t find out how to do this:

I want to create a section with an element that shows blog posts or WooCommerce products (not at the same time). I want it have category filtering and date sorting at the top, and pagination at the bottom.
(See image for example of what I mean)

If I can do this with the Grid element, that would be great, since I like how it handles. If not, I’ll use what I have to.

I need to be able to create this kind of section/element so I can put it on various pages, I need to be able to change if it shows posts or products and I need to be able to set what categories will show in the sorting on the front end.

If I have to have two different solutions for posts and products, that’s fine too.

Do you have any videos or tutorials on how to build this?

Thanks for reaching out.
What you are expecting is required complex customization which is beyond the scope of Theme Support. I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you to do the customization.

Oh, ok. That’s surprising. It’s pretty standard for many websites to have this kind of thing. And I’ve seen it included in other themes or templates without extra coding. It’s a little disappointing that PRO doesn’t include it when I’ve even seen it in free themes/templates.
