Creating a "post list"

HI i"m trying to create a sec that contains a list of post. Like the photos below. Are there any templates for this? I’ve seen other WP themes referred to as a list.

You can take a look at Classic recent post element. However, the look and feel you are looking, for that you need to take a look at 3rd party plugins. You can take a look at plugins listed on WordPress.org plugin repo or codecanyon.net.

Is it possible to use the Ethos recent post feature that i used with the X theme?

ethos post list is for blog page not possible to use in a section.
You have to look for a third-party plugins or custom development to use similar kind of list in a section.
You can check the Classic recent post element with some custmization also.
