Creating a portfolio layout with cornerstone

I have tried to make a portfolio page using the default portfolio tool. I have taken a regular page and updated it’s template to be portfolio.

But something doesn’t seem right about this. For example it just displays the image of my portfolio item, and then you have to hover over it to get the title.

Is there a way to use Cornerstone to create your own portfolio layout, but have it pull in content from the portfolio section of your site?

Is not possible to create another template using the Cornerstone and creating another portfolio template is beyond the scope of our support as the process is quite involved. I can give a tip though. Duplicate template-layout-portfolio.php. Append “-2” to the file name and also add “2” to the template name in the file. You can then dig into the template files referred by template-layout-portfolio.php
