Creating a directory of businesses/artists. Could this be done with looper or similar without using a 3rd party plugin?

Hi, I’m looking at adding a directory to our webpage to allow artists to have a simple profile added to a database that is displayed on a multi-page directory.

Could this be created using Themeco Pro own functionality, i.e. using looper and a form that adds to a referenced list? Or would this be a GIANT amount of work, alloweding for approval and a future paid tier…and so a 3rd party directory plugin for Wordpress i.e. GeoDirectory might be a better approach?

Thanks for any thoughts on this.

Thanks for writing in! Please be advised that the Loopers | Themeco Docs can only be used to DISPLAY posts, pages, taxonomies, custom post types, or any data from a JSON or an Array. You cannot use Loopers if you want to input data into your site’s database. A 3rd party plugin is needed to be able to manage directory entries and how each of the data you want to be added to your site. Regretfully we do not have any recommendations for this plugin.
