Creating a blog post

I’ve only done paged sites and am a bit confused regarding the blog post side of things.
I’ve created a Single Post Layout with a featured image, post tile, the content, and a div with buttons consuming the category types for the post. And set it’s Conditions to Post Type is Post.

Now when the user wants to create a new post, do they do that in the WP editor, or do they create a new Post in the Cornerstone Builder? I’ve tried the latter and there is no The Content section, nor is there a place to add the Category or Tags.

Hello @mtscottcog,

Thanks for writing to us.

Please note that the custom post layout only controls how the single post is designed and will display the post content and post-related data that you add in the post itself. You can create new posts using the default WordPress editor and insert your content there, or, if you prefer, you can also use Cornerstone to build the post. To enable Cornerstone for posts, go to Cornerstone -> Settings ->Permissions ->Posts and turn on the toggle to allow the builder for the Post post type.

Thanks

Thanks, Prakash! The permission setting was what I was missing.
