Im well aware of both options but id love to do this without a plugin due to the excessive script loaded on my site

I wanna achieve this in Pro without a plugin…

Hi Sam,

When you are trying to use the effect shown in the example, a few additional files will be included. But if you don’t want to use the plugin, you can try the lightbox shortcode, please go through the following article describing it.

Else, I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you to do the customization or you can avail of our newly launched service called One TOTAL CARE, where we offer small customizations

Here’s a good video here on something similar to what you want to do. A gallery element / gallery templates is something we are actively going to be creating in the upcoming releases. With any features needed for them being added in as well. Have a great day!
