Create Grouped Item Selection

Hi there,

I am setting up a simple WooCommerce shop.

Within the shop I just want to have a few items grouped together.

I can’t seem to do this in Pro, or am I being silly?

When using the Crafty design cloud site the grouped items work, but then how can I achieve that his the Layouts page, i.e. have the grouped items selections?

I can see the cross-sell, up-sell Dynamic Items there for WooCommerce, but nothing for Grouped Items.

This is what it looks like without using Layout Editor (just the standard shop with Crafty theme). I am unsure how to edit this like Single items in Layouts - it has all the wrong formatting and buttons are all different from the main single Layouts setup - but this would all be fine if I could add the grouped item to the Layouts page somehow.

When in Layout Builder for Single items I can’t seem to get the grouped items to show up.

It just looks like this:

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Tom,

Regretfully, there’s no option for grouping items. What you’re seeing without the Layout Builder is what the WooCommerce template provides and what 3rd party plugins integrate to.

If you wish to use the grouped display, regretfully, you can’t use the Layout Builder for this case.

The only solution for now is to create your own custom element. If you’re a developer or will hire a developer, check out the Developer Resources in our Docs

Is it not possible to just have it like the other pages? Cart and Checkout?

Whereby you have The Content and then can customize around that?

I can’t get The Content to come up when trying to create a WC Single, but if it did, then I could just put this in, and use CSS to hide the bits I don’t want and replace the rest with Layout Builder items.

Would be an easy way around this I would think, no?

Hi Tom,

Can you please explain what exactly you are trying to mean, any screenshot marked with the issue or any video that help us to recognize what you are trying. Just remember that, as my colleague says item grouping option is not available while using the Layout Builder.
