Create a second posts page with unique styling

Hello!

I want to create a second posts page template that will take on different styling than the default posts page on my site. I’m trying to create two blogs, and am using Essential Grid for the second blog index page, but need to be able to have those posts display on a different styled post page. Is this something you can help with?

Hi Julianne,

Thank you for reaching out to us. If you’re using Essential Grid for a secondary blog page then you can change the design of your posts using skins, simply assign a different skin to your gird please see https://www.themepunch.com/essgrid-doc/core-anatomy-of-an-essential-grid/#item-skin

You can also edit and customize the skin as you need using item skin editor, please see https://www.themepunch.com/essgrid-doc/item-skin-editor/

If you need to change the design of a page itself then that would require custom development which is regretfully outside the scope of our support you can seek help from a third party developer if you’re not comfortable making these changes yourself.

Yes, I’m looking for a way to change the page the post itself appears on, so those two options you shared won’t do the trick.
