Covid19 icons

Hi Team,

How do we access these font awesome icons within the feature list element for X:
https://fontawesome.com/icons?d=gallery&q=covid-19&m=free

Thank you.

Hi @DeeDesign,

The search option for the icon field chooser in the builder only works for keywords you type in that matches the font name.

For example, if you search user-nurse you will it in the matches:

However, I have added this to our Feature Request list so that it will be considered in future developer. Please note that feature requests are discussed internally and we cannot provide any ETA when it will be release or if it will be added since it depends on the amount of request a feature gets.

Thank you.

Thank you Jade - many of the COVID19 specific icons are not currently available when I search for them. Is there a manual way to add these?

Hello @DeeDesign,

We have released the theme bundled with Font Awesome 5.12. When Font Awesome included the Covid19 free icons, it was released in Font Awesome 5.13 last March 23, 2020. This is why most of the the Covid19 icons is not yet preset in the theme. We will still need to update the font awesome icons bundled in the theme. And there is no way you can add it manually.

Hope this helps.

I understand - I know we would all love access to these for the many updates that need to be made world wide, please let us know when they become available. Thanks to all - stay safe!

Thank you for understanding,

Same to you, stay safe.

Hi. This is superb.

How do I use the Font Awesome 5 Pro icons in before and after pseudo code?

I am currently using the free version by copying a snippet from FontAwesome website to the head of my website.

Since pro is added to X Pro, I’d love to use it but I don’t know how.

Thank you!

Hi Barry,

Kindly open up new threads for additional questions as it will help us to focus on each issue and give you better support which you deserve. Having a long thread makes maintaining job harder and also it will be harder for the other customers to find the correct information if they have similar issues. You are always welcomed to reply to this thread to follow up on the same question.

The Font Awesome icons are available within the Content Builder elements. So if you have an element that can add a graphic, such as the Icon element or headline element you can use the Font Awesome feature.

If you want to use the icon in a place that is not part of the Page Builder you can use the Icon Element inside the Global Block which then gives you a shortcode that you can use wherever you want.

Unfortunately, you can not use it directly with ::before and ::after pseudo code.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hmmm… Okay thanks.

Not cool anyways.
