Couple of pages in Pro won't show preview

Hi,

Building new site in Pro with Buddypress and BBPress.

Pro 1.2.7 and Wordpress 4.9

Have built numerous pages and forum elements, but a couple of pages I’ve created will not work, I get the error message:

“The preview could not load. This is most often related to a plugin conflict or aggressive page cacheing. Checking the developer console for errors could indicate what went wrong.”

I’ve checked developer tools and it states the error as follows:

Failed to load resource: net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT
cs.js:4593 preview-frame::update-aborted Object
(anonymous) @ cs.js:4593

This only happens on a couple of pages - I have deleted them, cleared the trash, and re-created them with different titles but they still throw the same error. One page is auto generated as part of BBPress but another is just a basic page I have created.

I’m not running many plugins but have de-activated them and tried again and the problem persists.

The site is currently hidden but I will send you a PM with admin account to access the site.

Could you take a look please and see if you can identify the problem.

Using Under construction - bypass password is the same as your admin password shown below.

Thanks,
Simon

Hey @defthaus,

Please give us the URL of the pages having this issue. Also note that plugin generated pages like WooCommerce shop cannot be edited with Cornerstone because they are powered by special templates.

Thanks.

Hi Christian,

The pages with the issue are the ‘advertise on…’ and ‘Activate’ pages.

Thanks.

Hello @defthaus,

Thanks for updating the thread. :slight_smile:

I added few elements on those pages and it seems to be working fine. Can you please try again? Please see screenshot:

Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for taking a look.

Unfortunately for me, I’m still encountering the same problem. I cleared the cache of my browser (Chrome) and still no joy. I tried a different browser (Safari) and I could get the ‘advertise’ page to work, but not the ‘activate’ page, but it was throwing a different error so it could be a different issue.

It looks like it’s a browser issue - any advice on how I may fix this?

Thanks.

If you have browser extensions, please disable them for troubleshooting purposes. Also try in incognito mode.

Thanks.

Thanks, the advertise page now works in incognito mode - I can live with that for now.

The ‘activate’ page is throwing a different error ( The preview could not load due to the iframe response being incomplete. This is most often related to a plugin conflict, or customizations introducing a PHP error. ) but that page is auto-generated by bbPress so will take a look as to why that may be happening.

Thanks again.

I’d like to check your ‘activate’ page but I could not find a way to login to your site.

Thanks.
