I load the Countdown Element into my page and everything works smoothly. The issue arises when I try to put the Global Block shortcode in the content field under the complete tab. The countdown stops working on the front end and just display zeros till the end time where it shows the content from the global block.
So is there an issue with me doing that? How can I overcome the issue?

I have replicated the issue so this is most probably a bug or something that we must prevent if it’s not supported. I’ll post this in our issue tracker so this case will be queued for investigation by our development team.
For now, regretfully, you really can’t use a global block in the Content Field of the Countdown element as it breaks the elements script.
