Cost Estimation only one form at a time is working

Hi there, on my website I have 3 different Cost Estimation forms. Each on a single page.
The issue is that only one is working at a time. It’s related to the form preview. The preview function is also not working but once you click on the preview of a form that specific form will be displayed correctly and the others won’t. So always the form with the latest preview will be working. I would like to have them all working again at the same time.

I have tested for a plugin conflict with no luck.

Hey @ArtOfSpring,

Thanks for posting in! It seems that there is a JS error on the page. The issue could be caused by a plugin conflict, amongst other things. Please check out this troubleshooting article here and follow the instructions for the following sections (where appropriate):

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Hi there,

I already tested for plugin conflict.
There is no cache and no cdn involved.
Also everything is up to date.

It’s definitely Theme related. I switched to the WordPress theme Twenty Twenty-One and it worked.
So there must be an issue with the Pro Theme.

Hi @ArtOfSpring,

Can you please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site?
And give us access in the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Hi there, you can troubleshoot on the live site.

Hey @ArtOfSpring,

I’ve tested your forms in my site and they all work. There might be something unique with your server configuration that is causing the issue. Would you mind providing FTP access as well or ask your web host to provide you with the error log then post the error log in the secure note.

Thanks.

Hi there please find the error log in the secure note

Hey @ArtOfSpring,

Unfortunately, the debug.log doesn’t have info that could lead us to the cause of the issue so this would be tricky to investigate.

While we’re still finding what the cause is, please try temporarily downgrading PHP to 5.6.

Thanks.

Hi there,

I tried PHP 5.6 - it caused a critical error.
PHP 7.0 also wasn’t working, from 7.1 it seemed stable but no change to the behaviour of the cost estimation forms. So I switched back to 7.4-latest FPM.

Hey @ArtOfSpring,

Thanks for testing. Regretfully though, this is very hard to troubleshoot as there’s no error to point us to the cause and I could not replicate the issue on my end. On your end, there’s most probably a server configuration factor that creates the conflict between Pro and the E&P plugin.

We’ll continue investigating but for now, I’d recommend that you revert to a version of your site when everything works.
