I am looking to change my theme from Theme X to another them I recently uploaded. However I am not able to efficiently edit the new theme to my liking because Cornerstone is not validated for this theme. How do I validate Cornerstone for new themes ?

Hi there @revdock07,

If you are trying to use the X license to validate Cornerstone, that wouldn’t work. You’d need an individual purchase of Cornerstone available via CodeCanyon which would then give you a individual Cornerstone license code for use with other themes.

I purchased the Cornerstone license. I just want to confirm do I have to upload any of the files or just input the license number ?

Hi,

Yes, you need to download cornerstone plugin from your themeforest download page and add it under Plugins > Add New in wordpress dashboard.
