Cornerstone / X stopped displaying posts

Hello,

I’ve recently installed Falang, a translation plugin, which I’m not going to use in the end. So I uninstalled it but this caused the site to disfunction, all media, pages, posts, where not displaying any more. I contacted the plugin developer and he found a bug in the plugin’s uninstall which he fixed. I re-installed a backup of my site (ftp+ mysql database) , the site is now partially fixed but the page’s content are still not displaying. When editing with cornerstone I can’t see the pages either, and it’s displaying this message (see screenshot). Would you have an idea of how to fix this ?

Hello Jerome,

Thanks for posting the very detailed information. There could be some files missing on the theme. Please re install the X theme and the Cornerstone plugin. Please check out this guide:

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Hello Ruenel,

THank you for your suggestions. However, something very strange happened : this morning I checked my site and it was working again, even though I had done nothing ! I however still followed your instructions to reinstall X theme. The only thing that wasn’t working right is that all essential grid icons were not displaying. So I uninstalled then reinstalled essential grid and that did the trick. So now all is back to normal. However I really don’t know what happened, do you have an explanation as to how the site would suddenly work again without me changing anything ?

Hi Jerome,

It sometimes happens, but the best part is that the problem is resolved now. Please let us know if you need any further help on this.

Thanks

Yes, of course. There is one last thing : I’m sometimes now getting this message in the wordpress admin : Failed to load plugin: colorpicker from url http://www.dev.studio-ubik.com/wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/colorpicker/plugin.min.j
Site is still functional

Hi Jerome,

It seems that problem with wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/colorpicker/plugin.min.js is not accessible. It might be a problem with the file or folder permissions, I would suggest you contact your Hosting Service provider on this.

Thanks
