Cornerstone won't validate license

I’ve also ran into this issue that seems to happen to few people on the forum.

This looks like a brand new purchase code that hasn’t been added to a Themeco account yet. Login to your existing account or register a new one to continue.

To give some more into, I was initially able to active Cornerstone using this code, but then I bricked the WP install so I did clean install. I’m pretty sure than I used the license again successfully, but at some point as I was working on the website, it again prompted me to insert license and that hasn’t worked.

Thanks for writing in! I have checked your Themeco account and I found out that you have two X theme licenses. Please be advised that you cannot use X theme licenses to validate the Cornerstone plugin. You will need to do the following:
1.) Log in to your Themeco account and go to the licenses page.

  • see the secure note below.

2.) Select the license code and download the latest X theme 10.1.10 version
3.) Go to Appearance > Themes and delete your old X theme
4.) Upload and install the new X theme 10.1.10 version
5.) Once the latest X theme is installed and activated, go to X > Validation page and use the license code to validate this X theme. This would also validate the Cornerstone plugin.

I have the same issue but my theme is Pro. It doesn’t accept the license.

It generally happens due to cache, I would suggest you please follow the steps mentioned by my colleague @ruenel. In case it doesn’t work for you please create a new thread and share your admin login details there on the new thread in the secure note so that we can check it on our end.
