Cornerstone won't save new elements or duplicates

Having an issue with one of our sites, and a particular page that we’re trying to build out. We have disabled plugins, tried re-building the page from scratch, but keep hitting a snag where Cornerstone acts like its saving new edits and additions, but when you refresh they aren’t there.

This page:

https://www.yeschools.com/meet-the-team-3/

On the bottom row - can’t add anything into that fourth column, or duplicate a row, etc.

Any help?

Hello @stonerome,

Thanks for writing in! You maybe having some caching issue. And also I found out that you are using CloudFlare. Right after your updates, please log in to your CloudFlare account and purge your site cache. You also need to regenerate the minified CSS and JS files in CloudFlare.

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Unfortunately, that didn’t work. We’ve actually bypassed Cloudlfare’s caching all together now, and still have some issue. I’m linking to a video that shows where on a page we’re duplicating a section several times, hit save, it saves, but then if you refresh, everything that was duplicated is gone. We’ve also done this one existing and new pages, so it’s a side-wide thing. https://www.yeschools.com/yes-screen.mp4

Hello @stonerome,

When editing a page, there is this JS error in the console:

(unknown) Uncaught ReferenceError: u is not defined
    at d (<anonymous>:1:693)
    at <anonymous>:1:809
    at <anonymous>:1:814

This could be coming from a plugin or the cache version of the JS resource files. Please provide us access to your Cloudflare so we can disable/enable the Development Mode and regenerate your minified JS/CSS resources.

Thank you in advance.

Thanks. We tried what you indicated with Cloudflare and the problem still persists. Right now, Cloudflare is completely disabled. Something to add to the discussion…

We host about 60 X theme sites, all on WPEngine. This one, however, is not on our hosting account, it’s with the web developer that original worked with our client and they want to preserve that relationship. Is there anything that’s possibly not jiving at the server level with these latest versions of X/Cornerstone? Any questions I can ask him that may point us in the right direction?

Hello @stonerome,

I checked your site dashboard and given page URL. I went ahead and checked the backend of the page, It seems that it working fine and saving the page content at my end. I tested it on the Headline element and it worked fine at my end. I would suggest you clear your browser cache and then chek it again.

Please check the screenshot in the secure note.

Thanks
