When I turn off the SiteGround Optimizer Plugin it works, but as soon as this plugin is on I cannot access cornerstone. Any ideas on how to keep the plugin on and use cornerstone?
What is worse: I have to turn on the optimizer plugin otherwise the cache will not flush on the site. So I need the plugin so I don’t have to manually flush the cache every time I make an update.
Please help.
hello @jjphillipsyo,
Thanks for writing in! This is the JS error when your SG plugin is active:
Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ')' https://yourdomain.com/wp-content/uploads/siteground-optimizer-assets/cs-app.min.js:1
This means that there is something wrong with the minified files generated by your 3rd party plugin. it does not regenerate the theme resource files from the latest updates. You may need to contact the creator of the plugin to let them know about the issue.
Best Regards.
Thank you! Siteground Optimizer plugin has a Minify JavaScript Files option that seems to be the culprit. I have turned this off and cornerstone seems to be working normally.
