I have a multisite instance with six sites that has been running for some time. Five of the sites have custom, mapped domains (not subsite domains).
Upgraded to Pro 6.7.12 just a couple days ago. Also updated WP core at the same time.
My client recently reported that they cannot edit the Header, and I’m experiencing the same problem.
I can launch Cornerstone, and most pages open just fine. However, the Header won’t load on 4 of the 6 sites. The animated loading icon just spins.
Five of the 6 sites have a very similar, complex header. Of those:
- The parent site has a very simple header. It will load.
- One site is still in development but has the complex header. Its domain is a subdomain of the parent site. The header loads just fine on this one.
- The complex header will not load on 4 of the sites. These each have mapped domains.
I’m mentioning the mapped domains because I saw another thread that indicated the issue might have been with mixed content. I’m 95% certain the header doesn’t have mixed content, but I thought it an odd coincidence that the header will load only on the parent site (main domain) and the one non-mapped domain.
The front-ends of all sites are working fine.
