Cornerstone update issue

I am writing in response to a faulty cornerstone update. I received a response from your office indicating that the cornerstone update as well as the X theme needs updating. We have tried to update the x theme but we are getting the same cornerstone error, leaving us at a standstill. We are unable to update anything because of the cornerstone error.

Since the issue is with both of your products we need your assistance. We are unsure which product should be updated first, how best to perform these updates so the site remains in tact and online. We are concerned as to the stability of the site. If we provide you with login credentials to the hosting C-panel are you able to perform the updates for us?

Please do the following

  1. Revoke your purchase code from X section (check the bottom of the page) and also remove it from your license page on Themeco.

  1. Temporary disable any caching plugins and purge all your server cache.

  2. Delete both X theme (/wp-content/themes/x) and Cornerstone plugin (/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone) by connecting to your FTP (your settings will be saved in the database)

  3. Download the latest copy of X and upload it to your themes folder via FTP OR you can upload the x.zip via Appearance -> Themes section.

  4. Latest version of Cornerstone will be installed automatically when you head over X section. Now you try validating your X theme again and then try to install any other extension and it should function properly.
