Cornerstone update - Fatal Error

Hi,

While updating the theme (not cornerstone), I got this error: **Fatal error** : Call to undefined method ReflectionParameter::getType()

First, i updated plugins (including Cornerstone) and it went well. Only when updating the theme X it crashed.
I have saw the same problem in different threads, but my problem is that I can’t even access to WP backend to try to fix.

Thanks for reaching out.
The PHP version might be the reason behind your issue, I would suggest you upgrade the PHP version to 7.4 by contacting your Hosting Service provide and check if that issue resolves or not. And also delete the Cornerstone plugin from wp-content/plugins through the FTP/CPanel.
If that does not helps, please deactivate and delete the X and re-install it by downloading from your Themeco Account by following the below steps.

1. Delete the Cornerstone, if already installed
2. After the X theme is updated, use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone. It will be at the latest version

But as I said, I cannot even access the WP back-end, so how would I do that?

Hi @breix,

I told you before that you need to delete the Cornerstone from wp-content/plugins first through the FTP or CPanel. Then you try the suggestion given in the above post.
