Cornerstone text not showing up for yoast

I’ve added over 1000 words to cornerstone elements for this website, however yoast is not finding the text and word count, Do you have any suggestions?

Hi there,

Because V2 element content is stored in post meta, it’s not detected by Yoast’s content analyzer. We already aware of this and added this to our issue tracker. Our development team should find a way to make the Yaost analyzer detects the information.

At the time being the only alternative is that you use Classic elements such as the Classic Text Element.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

ty, just spent another hour updating website with old text element. Here is another issue, o the home page there is 9 legal service boxes, with links for each service. The links are correct but the links just point or redirect to homepage, what’s the deal here?

Had to find other solution. Also padding elements don’t work either. Perhaps you should redevelop cornerstone

Hi there,

I tried accessing your site but looks like I’m not allowed. Looks like it blocks other countries.

Your access to this site has been limited

And in addition to SEO Yoast, both ends have issues. Any SEO tools are supposed to analyze the actual page and not the data stored in the database. That’s because search engines can only crawl the visible page of your sites, and not what’s stored on your site.

Try this example, add this shortcode [image src="https://kbob.github.io/images/sample-1.jpg"] in your Wordpress editor (not using any builder) and Yoast will not detect it as a valid image, but change it to this <img src="https://kbob.github.io/images/sample-1.jpg"> and it will be recognized as a valid image. Wordpress processed all contents stored on your site including shortcodes and generate recognizable content (eg. from [image] to <img>), then why Yoast has to analyze it based on stored content and not on the actual page?

It’s been an issue since visual composer since it uses shortcodes too, and when cornerstone v2 elements became available, the issue became more visible because the data stored in the database is inaccessible. But all in all, any SEO tools should base its analysis on public content only. We’ll see what we can do to improve this, but since the issue is n both ends then it will be harder for us. You may continue using classic element for now.

Thanks.
