Cornerstone text element bug. Updated text doesnt display properly

Hi,

Ive noticed a bug with the latest release of Conerstone (v3.4.6) that when you duplicate an existing text element in Cornerstone then double click it to change it, modify it , then click away , the text wont get updated and remains with the unedited text. This also happens if you edit the text in the text editor property that the text in the text element doesnt update properly.
If you double-click the updated text item, it shows the correct text, but as soon as you click away it reverts to the old text.

Ive tried this in multiple browsers and on multiple machines with the same problem.

Anyone else seeing this?

Thanks for reaching out.

I just tried it and it happens depending on the response time of the server and internet speed. And it’s not only happening on the duplicate text element, even on original or any text element. But, the text changes appear a couple of seconds (1 to 3 seconds) after you click away.

This isn’t a bug but a delay depending on many contributing factors, but we’ll investigate this further so we can improve it in the future.
