Cornerstone still has issues

Hi,

In the backend of my website, when opening cornerstone, I can see my FAQ and Contact section. However, they do not appear in my browser or my customer’s browser when opening the frontend of the website. This has been so for about 2 weeks now after the first cornerstone update. Also the footer is missing and in a normal state on top would be the WordPress menu. This has disappeared also.

I only have an under construction plugin in use, the rest came with X (contact form 7 and revolution slider).

Please see attached screenshots (one screenshot indicating faq and contactsection, the other indicating website ends at portfolio section)… I would like a solution as the website needs to go live next week.

Thank you for your help.

Regards,
Richard

Hi There,

I checked your website and its opening perfectly all section. I have attached few screenshots. Even the WordPress header coming fine. I have tested in Mac Firefox, Chrome and Safari. Please let us know if you are facing the issue in specific browser or OS.

Please disable the cache plugin and test again it might due to the plugin you have used, but I didn’t find the issue.

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for yout help. There is no caching plugin installed in the website.

Richard

This is what I see in Chrome:

White space instead of the 360 image as iFrame in the raw content block.

There is no caching plugin and I emptied my history in Chrome. Strange thing is that last week the iFrame worked just fine in Chrome.

Richard

Hi There,

I’m a different staff tested this issue on Chrome and here’s how it renders.

Did you try testing on another Chrome browser as well ?

Thanks!

No. I will try testing on a macbook.

By the way this is my Chrome version (windows based PC): 62.0.3202.94

It seems to work on my Macbook. Could it be laptop/pc related (maybe due to lack of memoryresources)?

I have reloaded the website 4 times. 2 times the iFrame worked, 2 times not. Could it maybe be a hosting issue?

Hello @SocialPepper,

On my end all the sections are loading fine. https://screencast.com/t/yoQRWrZSwi, https://screencast.com/t/A1ZhsHLvi3L

However, upon checking I can see that the hosting you have is using PHP version: 5.5.9. Please note that running outdated version of softwares especially on hosting becomes potential candidates for conflicts and more importantly can have security loopholes. Please make sure that the hosting support minimum configurations as mentioned in following documentation:

Thanks.

Ah, that is a good one! Its my customers hosting…Okee, thank you very much for that extra info. Which tool did you use to check this? Or is it in the Chroom Developers part?

Thank you for your help.

Regards,
Richard
