Cornerstone session expired issue

Hi, when I try to edit a page in Cornerstone I’m getting the Session expired message. Have tried updating / looking for plugin conflicts per similar threads and still no luck. Supplying logins via secure note in hope you can assist. Thanks

Hi @ChrisMcK3nzie,

Thanks for writing in.

I could see that you have properly setup your X and Cornerstone however there is a script that there is an error.

It could be the culprit or a plugin that causing this problem.

Please try to remove all plugin except cornerstone and remove all script that you have added in your setup.

Then let us know how it goes.

Hey thanks @nico. This is a bit of a problem as that script was added as custom JS to the Customizer menu, and I can’t get to it anymore because when I go to ‘Customize X in Theme Options’, I get the session timeout issue. Is there another way to get at that script to delete it?

Hi Chris,

Would you please update the WordPress to the latest version?

I remember that having the latest version of the WordPress and the theme version 6.1.6 fixes the issue.

Hey @christopher.amirian thank you. Actually I replied that we had the latest WP version but upon checking we don’t! I’m just getting that resolved now and hopefully it will fix it. Thanks for following up.
