Cornerstone Rendering issues in the editor

Hi,

I had this posted in a previous support thread but it was closed without it being resolved for some reason.

I am having issues with the cornerstone editor not displaying elements correctly. As you see from the following screenshots, it’s not showing in the editor the way it is in the front end. Its starting to happen on other sites now and I really need to work out what the problem is. It’s almost become unworkable in its current state. EVERY time I make any changes, the display falls apart and I have to save, refresh to see any changes. In this Example you’ll see the page in the editor before I make any changes…then as soon as I edit one element what happens to the page.

Since I’m not seeing anything in the Forum about this I assume its got something to do with my Mac. I’ve tried clearing the cache, running it on different browsers (I run normally on Chrome Version 122.0.6261.112 (Official Build) (x86_64)) and have tried Firefox and Safari with the same results. I also reinstalled Java, thinking maybe that was the problem. This problem started around the last update for Sonoma but has been progressively getting worse. I also use CleanMy Mac and have done deep scans for malware and its come up clean.

Can you please advise as to what I can do next? Its almost at the point where I can’t use Pro anymore.

I will leave credentials to login to the site shown in the Screenshots. Would you mind logging in and checking if you have the same issues?

thanks
Darren.

Hey guys,

I think I’ve discovered the cause. It was the Optimiser Plugin from Siteground. Since all my sites are hosted with SG I use their SG Opimizer plugin for all sites. When I switched off all the minify and combine scripts options on the Front End section the issue resolved itself.

Cheers,
Darren.

Hi Darren,

Glad that you are able to recognize the reason behind the issue.

Thanks
