Cornerstone preview was unresponsive after loading

Hi there,

a few months ago we had a problem editing pages via Cornerstone. We had an error according to the preview.

It said ‘The preview was unresponsive after loading. This is most often related to a plugin conflict or aggressive page cacheing’.

After consulting you guys we used the plugin ‘Transcient Cleaner’ and removed all transients. After that Cornerstone worked again.

Now we have the same problem again and the removal of all transients does not solve the problem anymore. Would you mind checking the cause of that error?

Best regards

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in.

Upon testing, it looks like due to your existing content, removing the last section makes the builder loads again. But, I’m not really sure since this could be related to host performance as well, as reducing the content makes it work too. There are times that even navigating in admin (not builder) is a bit slow too.

And it’s also varying, sometimes it loads, sometimes not. The first issue was WPML, but I did some changes and the URL in the preview message are now correctly displaying.

Could you try increasing your memory limit to 256mb by contacting your host? I see that it was increased to 256mb, but the actual limit is still 128mb (host limitation). Limit configuration has no effect on shared hosting and contacting them is recommended.

Thanks!
