Cornerstone Preview Not Working

Good morning!

I just tried editing some pages and global block items in corner stone and I keep getting these messages:

The preview was unresponsive after loading. This is most often related to a plugin conflict or aggressive page cacheing.

The preview could not load. This is most often related to a plugin conflict or aggressive page cacheing. Checking the developer console for errors could indicate what went wrong.

I’ve tried deactivating some plugins and I’ve reset my cache… not sure what else I should do to make it work.

Please let me know
Thanks!

Hi there,

Thanks for posting in.

Does this only happen to pages created from existing page and block templates? If yes, would you mind providing those templates here? Then I’ll try it on my install.

Else, please provide your site’s URL and login credentials in a secure note and I’ll check what error is causing this issue. But don’t forget to provide details of which block has this issue.

Thanks!

Hey Rad!

I didn’t use any templates for my pages, it’s currently happening on all my pages and global block items. You’ll find the url and the login credentials in the secure note.

Hi there,

I see no secure notes from you. Please check.

Thanks.

Hi There,

I was able to login but your WordPress backend is inaccessible due to a server error (secure note).

Could you please confirm on your end, so that we can check your issue.

Thanks!

I just fixed it. Want to give it a try?

Sorry about that,

Hello There,

Thanks for updating in! I have logged in and it seems that your WordPress is outdated. Please update it to 4.9.1. In most cases, out dated WordPress, theme or plugins will create issues in your site.

If this is still happening, This could be caused by a 3rd party plugin. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If the issue still exist, please re install X theme and Cornerstone. There might be some files that were corrupted. You can review our update guide and see the Manual Update section to re install X.

Please let us know how it goes.

Thank you! Everything is back to normal

You’re more than welcome, glad we could help.

Cheers
