Cornerstone preview is fine, but edit page is always blank

Just purchased the X Theme and looks like the website works fine with the regular default Integrity skin but having issues editing pages via the Cornerstone builder.

So if I go to the “Content” of a page I can see it just fine, but if I hit “EDIT”, the content is blank. What’s the correct procedure here? My website does not have a lot of content, so I’m fine with just blowing everything away and rebuilding the site from the ground up using Cornerstone if that is the better approach.

But how do I do that, is there a way to start everything from scratch while still preserving the structure of my site in terms of nav-links, etc?

Thanks for writing in!

I have checked all your sites, Home, Byte of the Round Table, Games and Paper page. None of the them where built with Cornerstone. Only pages created with Cornerstone can be edited with Cornerstone. Once you edit one of these pages in Cornerstone, any existing previous contents will be discarded and Cornerstone will treat it as a blank canvas to you to start to create the page from scratch. Editing those pages in Cornerstone will not affect the navigation menu structure. Only the contents of each pages will be affected.

okay so sounds like I can just safely edit the pages and remake them which will set them up as proper Cornerstone pages.
