Cornerstone Preview Area not full size

I tried to find if there was a simple solution (and there probably is), but I couldn’t figure out why the cornerstone preview area is squished to only the upper part of the screen.

I included a sample photo below…

Did I miss something simple? This occurs in Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and Chrome.

Hi @CaptainChas,

Can we do basic troubleshooting first? Let’s see if this is a result a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If not a plugin, the issue might also be a result of customization. If you have installed a child theme, try switching to main theme. In case you hae custom JS or CSS, try to remove that first and check again. Also, don’t forget to save a backup while checking the root cause of the issue.

If the issue persists, please share site URL and credentials inside a secure note so we can check further.

I tried disabling all my plugins… Didn’t help. I haven’t changed anything (plugin or elsewise) since it was working… I’ve just been updating as things come along. And I’m not using a child theme and I haven’t modified anything.

I checked the website and can see the issue in Cornerstone preview. Further inspecting the page I see height: auto !important; getting added automatically. I tried to test for plugin conflict, reinstalling Cornerstone but that did not resolve the problem

In that regards, I suggest you to please try reinstalling X Theme. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Under Appearance > Themes activate default WordPress theme.
  2. After that from Themeforest or Apex downloads section, download a fresh copy of X Theme.
  3. Once downloaded, upload the files from Appearance > Themes > Add new.
  4. Activate the theme and test the case again.
