Cornerstone plugin will not activate

Hi there - my website www.iskinaesthetics.co.za is displaying all over the screen and it says that there is an issue on line 105 of the plugin.php sheet. I cannot activate the plugin from the plugins page or from the x tab itself.

please advise

Hi Tevan,

It seems that you have not updated to the latest version of the X theme i.e. 8.3.3, I would recommend you to update your theme to the latest one by following the below steps.

  1. Delete the Cornerstone, even if it is deactivated.
  2. Update the X theme to the latest version on automatic updates
  3. After the X theme is updated, use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone. It will be at the latest version

If that does not help, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

I updated x and tried to install cornerstone but it takes me to a dead link.

Hey Tevan,

The cause of the issue could be the outdated PHP 5.6 you’re using. Please contact your web host to update PHP in your site to version 7+.

Once you’ve updated to PHP 7+ and it does not help, please provide the following additional info.

  • cPanel or FTP credentials (ask your web host for this if you’re not familiar)
