Cornerstone Plugin Updates not showing

Cornerstone plugin is validated, but has never shown when they are updates. Why do I have to download and upload updates instead of showing the updates through the WP Plugin area? What could be preventing this?

There are a lot of factors why you cannot see the update option, see the following options below on how you can trigger the update.

  • Cache Issue: Clear your cache and try again. Sometimes, caching issues can prevent the update from showing.

  • Force Update: You can try to force an update by going to the Plugins page, deactivating the plugin, and then activating it again. This may trigger the update check.

  • Check for Server Issues: Ensure that your server has the necessary permissions to update plugins. Sometimes, server configurations may prevent the WordPress installation from updating plugins.
