Cornerstone plugin not updating due to validation key not working

Hi, I asked for help with updating my version of Cornerstone (which came bundled when I purchased the Theme X) and received the below reply. However, it’s not clear how to go about revoking the licence either from within the site, or through the Apex licence page.

Some extra clarification would be appreciated.

Hi Cathy,

Please try revoking your license from Wp Admin > X (Addons)

Revoke your license from your Apex license page: https://theme.co/apex/licenses

Re-assign your URL on both places and try to update.

If that does not work, please remove Cornerstone via FTP from wp-content/plugins and remove X from wp-content/themes and re-install X.

Repeat the validation process.

You won´t lose any changes because your information is stored on the database and not on the theme folder or plugin folder.

Hi,

To revoke your license go to Wp Admin | X (Addons) and click revoke license.

Also visit: https://theme.co/apex/licenses remove your URL and assign it again.

Once you have re-installed X , go back to your WP Admin | X | and add your license number to validate your theme.
