Cornerstone plugin not playing well with xtheme?

Hi,

I recently updated xtheme but something is just not working right. I get an error when working in cornerstone that “an error occurred and it’s switching to skeleton mode”

Also, If I disable the cornerstone plugin, I gain access to the customizer but with cornerstone enabled, I get an error to the customizer.

Lastly, There is this strange blue box with a plus in the upper right corner that doesnt work and I cant for the life of me figure out what its supposed to do? Is it a hidden search function or is it supposed to reveal widgets when pressed? In any case, it does not work either.

Hi @MrBishopM,

I’ve checked It looks like X is updated, but you’re still using an older incompatible version of Cornerstone. This can happen sometimes if you go several releases without updating.

The easiest thing would be following these steps:

  1. Go to Plugins in your dashboard and deactivate Cornerstone
  2. Delete Cornerstone as a plugin. This is safe to do as all the settings are saved in the database.
  3. Visit “X > Overview” in the dashboard. Cornerstone will automatically reinstall at the latest version.
  4. Clear any caches you may be using.
