CORNERSTONE plugin needed for pro?

hi all I just installed and activated x and plugged in my pro license number but on the wp dashboard its telling me to install and activate cornerstone plugin. I thought with pro you didn’t need to do that?

Thanks for reaching out.
It seems that you have upgraded your license from X to Pro. If you are still using the X that will not be validated. And X is required for Cornerstone to be installed, which can be done by clicking on the link shown in the screenshot.
