Thanks for reaching out.

You must update your Wordpress installation too, but make sure to try the update on a staging site so it will not affect any of your older plugins.

You could try using All in one migration plugin to clone your live site. It’s a migration plugin, but this time, you’re justing migrating a copy and not moving it. Please check this

Again, the purpose of this is to test the update on a separate copy of your site before doing it on your live site once you confirmed it’s okay without issue.
