Cornerstone Plugin crashing Site, started with 4.0, tried 4.01. and 4.0.2 but still crashing site

I am receiving this error when I enable the Cornerstone 4.0.2 plugin. I do not have X installed I am using Cornerstone as a standalone page builder with Oxygen as my Site builder. I am running PHP 7.1 and Wordpress is up to date. I have disabled Cornerstone so that my site can function, please help.

Thanks for reaching out.

You’re currently using Pro theme which doesn’t need another cornerstone since it’s built-in. Please update your Pro theme instead, then make sure to delete cornerstone.

What? I specifically said in my post " I do not have X installed I am using Cornerstone as a standalone page builder with Oxygen as my Site builder." let me be extra clear, I am not running X Theme or Pro Theme, I am running a theme called Oxygen.

Ok, So after investigating a little, Oxygen is a Plugin that replaces the Wordpress theme ability. I applied Oxygen and it disables themes but my previous theme was Pro. So I disabled Oxygen, then went in and Deleted the Pro Theme and enabled Oxygen and Cornerstone and everything is working.

Good to hear you were able to get it working. Those portfolio files should only load if X or Pro is the current theme, so I’m not sure why that would happen, but we’ll take a closer look in case there are any adjustments we need to make.
