Cornerstone Password Prompt on All Pages

Hi Team,

My client is facing an issue. When visiting the site wether the home page or the adming control a password page appears. After some investigation and disabling plugins directly from the directory of the website it turns out that it’s from cornerstone.

So after disabling the plugin i was able to login to the admin page however the main website page is blank and it appears that Theme X downloaded cornerstone again as it sow that is was missing. When i trie to enable the old version and disable the new one i get back to the old issue.

I’m guessing my client by mistake enabled some password protection options (They had no clue!).

Kindly advice what can be done to enable the old version of cornerstone.

Thanks for reaching out.

I don’t see any similar issue, have you tried updating your Wordpress core? It could be related to it since the session doesn’t work when updated cornerstone runs on not updated Wordpress.

And please provide the site’s URL and admin login credentials in a secure note. I like to check it as well.
